So, after having vacated my studio space at The Fort for a few months, I am proud to say that I am back there and in full swing.
For those of you who don't know what The Fort is, here is a little history. After the Deux Gros Nez closed, Tim Healion acquired a warehouse on Dickerson Rd. to headquarter the Tour de Nez and house all the rad stuff from the Deux. I moved my painting studio there shortly after. After months of convincing, I also got Chris Carnel(famous photographer) to move his studio there. As of this week, The Fort is also home to Bootleg Courier company, Reno's first and only bicycle courier company. All along, we have had plans to do some fun stuff out there for the public and communtiy. That is finally coming together. Besides Tim, Chris, Myself, and Bootleg, there is a community of people who help with various things at The Fort such as consuming coffee and espresso! In short, The Fort's philosophy is to advocate Bicycles, Coffee, Art, and Community!
